Martin Veyhle Racing (MVR) BMW E38
Martin Veyhle Racing (MVR), a German tuning company, is renowned for its high-performance modifications of various BMW models. Among their notable creations is the MVR E38, a rare and powerful variant of the BMW 7 Series (E38), which showcases MVR's engineering prowess and dedication especially to performance enhancement.
Rarity
The MVR E38 is an exceptionally rare vehicle. Reports indicate that only 12 units were ever produced, making it perhaps the second-rarest E38 you could get your hands on. (Following Lagerfeld's L7, which is almost impossible to buy.)
Engine
MVR took the standard 5.4-liter M73 V12 engine and increased its displacement to 6.1 liters. This modification substantially boosted power and torque, delivering an overall more exhilarating driving experience. The enhanced engine was capable of producing 438 horsepower, a notable increase from the stock output of the M73 V12 (326hp).
Exterior Design and Exhaust
Exhaust was also replaced for a duplex sport exhaust system.
Steering wheel
What started as your average 4-spoke steering wheel is now prepared to give you some sort of racecar feel.
MVR did go all out and installed a paddle-shift system, which, to be honest, looks kind of out of place. But at the end of the day, who cares. It's really all about unuqueness.
There were 2 steering wheel types offered by MVR - full leather and leather with wood insertion
